The Future Party is a new movement of people who are dedicated to thinking of long term solutions to advance our society. The Future Party believes quality of life is improved primarily through technological developments, sourced through a scientific approach to knowledge in the context of democracy and peace. We see innovation, education and economic reforms as key to the success of Australia.

 

The Future Party are technophiles who believe that the economy should be directed to maximise technological development and adoption where it is advantageous and safe to do so. The Future Party aims to make Australia an advanced, technologically superior country with a high quality of life for all its citizens and residents.

Leader

James Environment
James Jansson is the Leader of the Future Party. James Jansson grew up in Sydney’s west as the eldest of 6 children in a poor family. He studied mathematics and later teaching at the University of Sydney. He did a short stint teaching in a disadvantaged school in western Sydney. Since then, James has been completing his PhD in mathematical modelling of HIV disease progression and epidemiology. James is 28 years old.

Secretary

Alexey Feigin is the Secretary of the Future Party. Alexey was born in Russia and immigrated to Australia with his immediate family when he was 10 years old. He has a computer science background and is currently undertaking a PhD in capital markets research.

Director

Jordan Rastrick is the Director of the Future Party. He was born and raised in inner city Sydney. After studying mathematics and philosophy he had several jobs in sales, hospitality and database administration before joining a small consultancy as a financial and data analyst.

Treasurer

James Haggerty is the Treasurer of the Future Party. A native Sydneysider, his background is in Computer Science and English, and he currently works as a software engineer.
